The following document outlines the terms and conditions for all scholarships administered by the Beauty Master Foundation Scholarship Awards Program. By submitting an application for our scholarship, you agree to these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions in their entirety before submitting your application. Upon acceptance of your scholarship, you are agreeing to and accepting these terms and conditions, and you are bound by the requirements and conditions of your scholarship. 

• Applicant must be attending 11th or 12th grade at a high school in the state of Georgia for the Fall 2023 semester.

• Beauty Master employees and their family members are eligible to apply.

• Application must be completed by the student seeking scholarship funds. Parents cannot apply on behalf of their children.

• Applicant should not include any identifying personal information in his/her essay, including name or school. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification of application.

• All application materials must be received by Beauty Master Foundation Inc. no later than 11:59 pm on October 20, 2023.

• Essays will be evaluated by a pre-selected committee and will be graded on content, creativity/writing style, and technical components (i.e., grammar/spelling).

• Each scholarship recipient will be notified in mid-November 2023 of his/her award by phone and/or e-mail.

• Scholarship funds will be made payable directly to the scholarship recipient.

• Applicant agrees to have their photo taken upon acceptance of the award.

• Applicant agrees that by submitting an application to the Beauty Master Foundation Inc. Scholarship Program, his or her photograph, name, and award amount may be published in future print or electronic material. Upon submission of application, essays become property of Beauty Master Foundation Inc. The Foundation may publish or otherwise use submissions without prior approval and without compensation.

• A list of award recipients will be published on our website.

• All tax responsibilities belong to the scholarship recipient, not Beauty Master Foundation Inc.

• Applicant will provide true and correct information, or risk disqualification. Failure to follow the 2023 Scholarship Program Terms and Conditions will result in immediate disqualification.

Scholarships are awarded based on established eligibility criteria. To receive your scholarship payment, you must meet the eligibility requirements, which are outlined on the scholarship page of our website for each scholarship.

Students who receive a scholarship may also be required to sign an individual scholarship agreement. It is the responsibility of the students to meet all conditions as outlined in the agreement. All correspondence between the applicant and the Beauty Master Foundation will primarily be conducted via email. Your point of contact is scholarship@beautymaster.com, which is only for those selected to receive the award. 

All students offered scholarships will receive an official "offer" email with the scholarship funds and must respond by either accepting or rejecting the offer within ten days of receipt. Failure to respond within this 10-day period may result in the scholarship offer being withdrawn and reassigned. To be eligible to receive payment, you must accept your scholarship offer by the due date as instructed in your offer email. Beauty Master Foundation will make payment of the funds in one single installment. However, we reserve the right to make payment in multiple installments as we see fit. The total value of the scholarship offered will be outlined in the official offer email. Beauty Master Foundation reserves the right to make a final decision on how payment is made and can withdraw the offer of scholarship if an amicable and realistic payment process cannot be reached. 

Beauty Master Foundation is not responsible for providing financial advice on taxation matters. The information provided here is of a general nature only and does not take into account your individual financial circumstances. It is your responsibility to seek advice from a qualified professional for guidance on tax matters. 

Providing false or misleading information is an offense. If the Beauty Master Foundation knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information, we may reassess your entitlement to the scholarship, and you will be liable to repay the Beauty Master Foundation the total sum of any payments incorrectly made to you. Beauty Master Foundation reserves the right to share your application with any company affiliates, including personal information such as your email address.

At Beauty Master Foundation Inc., we are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of personally identifiable information you share with us (any information by which you can be identified, such as name, address, and telephone number). That is why Beauty Master Foundation Inc. has established this privacy policy, so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your information.

In general, you can engage with Beauty Master Foundation Inc. without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We track the internet address of the domains from which people interact with us and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but the individual user remains anonymous.
